LGBTQ Event : Once again, it’s over :(

LGBTQ Event : Once again, it’s over :(

Once again, the LGBTQ Event is over. I have loved every second of it and I felt that all of the posts were amazing. We had some that were pure promo, we had some that were deeply personal and we had some that highlighted the difficulties that the LGBTQ community face on a daily basis. I also loved that we had posts that were great for writers who want to write within the genre which was an unexpected delight. I have indexed all the posts here so, if you haven’t had a look, you can find them easily. All the giveaways have ended but, honestly, the posts are worth a read anyway. Some of the authors poured their hearts and souls into these posts and they certainly make compelling reading. To all the authors who participated, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I merely created a space for the event; it was your words that made this event as fantastic and positive as it was.To

The posts will be indexed on the side and I do hope you hop through … I have been so lucky this year! Today, we have KJ Charles with a wonderful post on Raffles, an early tale with some definite homo-erotic overtones. She is also introducing her new book and I have to say that a book pegged as one that is a MM tale influenced by Sherlock and Holmes is one I am DEFINITELY reading. *           *           *             *             * Hands up who ever read a book and thought, “Well, that would have been a lot better with significantly more gay romance”? All of us? Good. I have a thing… Keep Reading »

The posts will be indexed on the side and I do hope you hop through … I have been so lucky this year! Today, I have a wonderful Top Ten Post from Jen Burke. She has decided to do a Top Ten post highlighting her Top Ten M/M cop characters. There are a few on this list that are on my list too! *      *       *        *        * One of my biggest catnips in m/m romance is a character who’s a cop, or a former cop, or a private detective. FBI or CIA works, too. Maybe it’s my love of Law & Order showing, or maybe it’s just that there’s something about a strong, alpha man in uniform figuring out how to… Keep Reading »

It sounds wonderful. *         *           *          *             * When I wrote Out of Rhythm it came from a very specific place. It was a novella that I wrote for me as a break between contracted books. That’s how I like to recharge. It’s these books where I like to do something different as no one is expecting anything from me. When I wrote Out of Rhythm I wanted to write a contemporary rock star story…but I didn’t want… Keep Reading »
