Hot Cover Monday : Hot and Badgered by Shelly Laurenston

Hot Cover Monday : Hot and Badgered by Shelly Laurenston

It’s not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn’s hotel balcony. Definitely they don’t usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she’s gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she’s a honey badger shifter, it’s too late. Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won’t even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she’s not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He’s trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He’s cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up… Keep Reading »

Tuesday Talk – Authors, we need you!

Tuesday Talk – Authors, we need you!

I’m starting a new feature here on the blog; Tuesday Talk! I want Tuesday Talk to be a feature where readers can read something different from their favourite authors by hearing their views on a topic of their choosing. It can be a piece on anything the author wants to talk about. So, what do I need? Well authors, I need you! If you are interested in writing something, drop me a line on twitter or by email at scorchingrevs@gmail.com. Do I have any limits to what you write? I reserve the right to refuse to publish anything I find objectionable but most topics will be fine. It could be a thought provoking piece or something as simple as recipe sharing, there are no limits and it doesn’t have to take you an age to put together. Why would you want to take part? It’s good promo! Also, more and more people are choosing to buy books from authors with a social media presence; this is just a different format…. Keep Reading »

Hot Cover Monday : Most Likely to Score by Lauren Blakely

Hot Cover Monday : Most Likely to Score by Lauren Blakely

It seemed like a good idea at the time… As the team’s publicist, I need a football player to be the face of our charity calendar, and Jones Beckett needs a savvy PR woman to manage his new sponsorship deal. A simple give and take, and I’m sure I’ll have no problem following my iron-clad rule — don’t date a player. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted and devilishly clever the man is. But you know what they say about best laid plans… Once I start spending my off-season days and nights with Jones, I’m following a brand new playbook, one that has me falling hard for the incorrigible flirt — heart, body and mind. That’s against the rules, and now what seemed like a bright idea has turned into a dangerously forbidden one. *** It was supposed to be an I-scratch-her-back-she-scratched-mine kind of arrangement. And man, did Jillian ever drag her nails down my back on one hell of a hot night. Okay fine,… Keep Reading »
