I haven’t done this in a while but I want to get back to it. I’ll be honest, it never really took off with anyone but I enjoy doing it and it gives me time to promo books I love that I simply don’t have time to review. If you do want to join in, just link your post to the linky thing at the bottom (where it say’s you’re next or something similar) and post away.
The book I loved this week is a book that I have had on my kindle for an age but never got to because I have to prioritize review requests. However, this week I’ve been in a bit of a slump and needed something to pull me out. I started this book and I could not put it down. I’ve read the whole thing once and the last half twice. It has an angsty female character, a lovely but arrogant male lead and a storyline that made me laugh, cry and get really really angry. I could not recommend it more and have no doubt it will be going on my favorites of the year list. Here is On Dublin Street
Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…
Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.
Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.
But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.
