I find anthologies hard to review. Each contribution is a short story and I find it hard to not over-spoil in those reviews. Also, do I review the collection or each book? It’s such a hard balance to find but with this one, I’m going to try my question and answer type review…. should get away from the spoiler issue at the very least 🙂

……. Love, lust and exhibitionism. Seriously, there is a LOT of public sex 🙂

How were the heroines?
All of the heroines were strong, sexually empowered women who knew what they wanted but weren’t willing to be mistreated just for some hot sex.
All that Remains :
Summer exists in a world where women are revered, their numbers so depleted that they are precious to men and triads are common. Even though she is attracted to both of the men in her story, she isn’t willing to let them too close without a damn good chat and negotiation. She owned her feelings and allowed them to help her make her choices…. I liked her! She was strong enough to take what she wanted, even when that decision could have back-fired in her face.
Rocky Ride :
Anna, I grew to like more than adored at the start. As much as it annoyed me that her relationship with Mitch was a dirty little secret, I liked that it wasn’t because she didn’t know he was a good man. She was completely free with her affections when she decided to give them and I loved that she was happy to support him in the face of some very negative public opinion. She was a woman who stood by her man and her sexuality…again, I liked her.
Beyond Temptation :
Emma is a woman whose seen some hard times and has now decided that she needs to grab onto the things that she wants with both hands. What she wants is Noah and she definitely grabs onto him 😉 What I liked is that she wasn’t afraid to walk away from the man she had always loved to retain her dignity and self-worth. She loved him but she respected herself more than to be used and discarded.
What about the men-folk?
There is so many men-folk in this book …. it was awesome!
Rocky Ride :
Mitch looks like a bad boy, has the tats and piercings of a bad-boy but is a good guy. He will do anything to please and protect Anna … he is so damned swoon-worthy!
All that Remains :
Charlie and Hatch are lovers looking for their third. Yes ladies, this book has some hot MM loving too. I loved Charlie and his easy attitude but Hatch was the moody, alpha intense part of the triad that kept my attention. I loved the way that these two are with each other, how the male relationship is both a friendship and a romance.
Beyond Temptation :
Noah is probably the most intense of all the heroes in this anthology. He has some serious baggage but he wants to keep his promises. Once he starts a relationship with Emma, he wants more than anything to be good enough for her … he was so cute in a over-bearing, grumpy way.

Favorite parts of the anthology….
Beyond Temptation : A gun-fight scene where Emma demands that Noah sees her as a partner
Rocky Ride : The scene with the hand-cuffs near the end … hot, hot, hot!
All that Remains : The blow-job scene near the start …. what can I say, I’m nothing but predictable 🙂
Overall, this is a very hot anthology. All of these books can be read as standalone and I recommend that you get it if you have never been introduced to any of these authors as you may find a new series to love. If you like your stories angsty and your sex content kinky, try this book!
