A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

She’s the one that got away. He’s the one she can’t forget.

Photojournalist Christine Forsythe is ready to tackle her naughty little to-do list, and who better to tap for the job than a hot groomsman? But when she crashes into her best friend’s older brother, Christine realizes her list needs updating. And fast. Tyler Dresco took her virginity during the best night of her life, then bolted. Now that they’re trapped together at a destination wedding, she’s going to get her revenge.

Tyler has never forgiven himself for how completely he lost control all those years ago. Being in Christine’s arms had felt right…until he realized what he’d taken from her in the hallway of a cheap motel. And oh, how she’s making him pay for it now. The insatiable heat between them has only grown stronger, but every time things heat up, Christine walks away.

With every encounter, things go a little bit further until Christine’s caught in her own trap of seduction. And before their time’s up, Tyler’s not the only one wanting more…

FTC : I got this book from the publisher for an honest review. I haven’t received any monitory compensation for it.

Before we begin, it is important to note that I think you need to read this series in order. Although it is set in the same timeline, and at the same event, there is an order for a reason. I have to say that these authors have done a fabulous job with this as it must have been a complete nightmare to coordinate.

This is the wedding from the POV of Christine and Tyler. It is a tale that combines the tropes of jilted lover with the best-friends elder brother into one hot little package and I really enjoyed it.

Christine is an investigate reporter who has an exciting job and a dull sex life. She goes to her best-friends wedding armed with a list of sexual things that she feels, as a member of the bridal party, she should get to do with a member of the groomsmen. Any groomsman that is, that isn’t Tyler. Tyler is the one that took her virginity and broke her heart and he is definitely not on the list. Unfortunately for her, he wants to be and he isn’t willing to let her say no.

Christine was a conflicted character and I liked that. The chemistry between them was insane but she was wary of the man who ran out on her all those years ago; no matter what pretty words come out his mouth, he has had the opportunity to make amends since and hasn’t. She runs from him at every opportunity, she tries her hardest to not be left alone with him but, unfortunately, Tyler on a mission is something that she just can’t resist. This story was so sweet.

Tyler took me a while to warm to. Actions speak louder than words and although he may say that she is the one that got away, that she is the one he has always wanted, he still ran away all those years ago and left her, sans virginity, upset in a hotel room alone. I didn’t know if he was worthy of hero status and it took me a while not to scoff at his declarations. In fact, I was wary of him until his present actions matched his present words (see scavenger hunt scene…. yum!). I have to admit, he was pretty dream-worthy by the end.

Out of all of the books in the series, this is the most romantic. They were already in love with each other, even though she wanted nothing to do with him, and this was the story of them figuring out that love. With plenty of sex thrown into the mix, it fits nicely with the entangled line but this one really stood out from the others in the series.

The first novel in a very steamy series, this is the story of one man determined to romance the woman he threw away all those years before. With outdoor sex, romantic proclamations and a very naughty to-do list, this is a story for erotic romance fans everywhere.
