LGBT Fiction Event Day 30 : The Natural Progression of a Series by Jayne Kingston

I write mainly m/f romances. It’s true. While I started my publishing career with handful of boy-on-girl stories, I knew I wasn’t going to stay strictly within that genre forever. I am very much a love who you love type of person, and I love it when my characters show me who they want to be with instead of me picking for them.

When I started my Mischievous Matchmaker series I had a pretty good idea that it was going to wrap up with my first m/m romance. See, I had this sexy, funny, bisexual character named Jude who we meet right there in the first chapter of the first book. I knew he was going to get a bum deal at some point in the series, and I knew I was going to want to make it up to him at some point, because I like him. A lot.

What I didn’t know at the time was who he was going to end up with.

Then I wrote book three, and lo and behold, his match appeared. Right there in glorious living color, and sure enough—he was a man. An equally sexy, funny, bisexual man who might just be the one to pull Jude out of his self-imposed funk and show him he was worthy of a second chance at love.

Hey, Jude was so much fun to write. And while it was my first same sex romance, it certainly will not be my last. As a huge fan of the LGBT genre, I feel as if I’m just getting started.

Blurb:

He’d asked Petra not to play Cupid for him.

He should have known she wouldn’t listen.

Jude doesn’t see it coming the night his matchmaker ex-girlfriend invites him to dinner and he finds himself on a blind date instead. With someone he’s wanted to get his hands on for a very long time. Someone way out of his league.

Michel is the stuff the most erotic dreams are made of, but Jude doesn’t understand why Petra thinks the sexy Frenchman would be interested in him…until Michel spells it out for him in very explicit detail.

About Jayne:

When Jayne was growing up she spent many hours daydreaming about a time when she could flee the too-small town in Ohio where she grew up and run laughing for the sunny West Coast. Of course she stuck around and raised her family there instead, and doesn’t regret it for a moment. Now she spends her days dreaming about the delicious fun two people can have while falling in love.
