Musing Post : I need some LGBT Recommendations ….

Posted April 23, 2015 by Nix in Musing / 5 Comments

OK, next month is LGBT month here on the blog. I love this event but there is one thing I think I haven’t done enough of over the last few years; I haven’t done enough LGBT reviews on it. This year I am committed to one LGBT post per day (there may be non-LGBT posts too … I have review commitments) so, at the very least, on the days where there are no posts (there are days left authors *BIG HINT*)  there will be LGBT reviews! (I want to do at least 10 I think).

So, I need recommendations! What LGBT books do you tell people about? What should I read? I won’t read them all (and possibly not every review will be favourable) but I think I need some guidance. There are a few things I won’t read (twincest, cheating, twatty heroes/heroines) but I’m open to pretty much anything else! HELP READERS 🙂

Oh, and if any bloggers want to GuestPost and tell people about their favourite LGBT books, please get in touch 🙂

Oh wow! Okay, The Bluewater Bay series put out by Riptide. It is written by various authors, but I have yet to find one I didn’t love. They are all great. The latest was Wedding Favors by Anne Tenino.

I love Morticia Knight. Found her on Totally Bound, and she has some nice cop and firemen stories as well as a wonderful BDSM series set in the 1920s.

Geoffrey Knight – has his own publishing company, Wilde City – has some interesting stuff, not to mention you can find all kinds of LGBT on his site.

The Playing a Fool series by Lisa Henry and J. A. Rock was fun.

I also like reading Vicktor Alexander, though I haven’t read any of his recently . His stories really cover all aspects of the LGBT genre. One of his favs is “gender fluid.”

The others I mention are mostly m/m romance and as it appears, guess I read a lot of them. 😉

Hope this helps some. I don’t have my own blog, I review over at Jeep Diva, so I can’t guest blog. OR maybe I can ask her and maybe . . .
