So, this year I’m doing things a little differently…. rather than constantly plug the sign-up sheet for individual events to authors, I am asking them to express interest on this post for all the events for the year. I will email you the day before the selected event (or events) signup sheet goes up so you can go directly to it and not miss the deadline. This change has come about from feedback from authors. I hasten to stress that, although I am asking, I am not demanding; there will be plenty of opportunity as the events are announced.
The events this year will be….
Feb 14th-20th – Romance…My Way BlogHop* – Done
April – LGBT Event (Author/Reader Event) – Done
August – Sex Scene Championship (Excerpt Event)
Last years winner was Tessa Bailey, so who will be the winner of the Sex Scene Championship 2014? We are asking authors to pit their best sex scene (500-800 words) in a knock out championship that can only one winner. Sex scenes will appear more than once if they get through the next round but authors will only need to provide one excerpt. I will be putting up a Gift Card Event Giveaway.
December – Christmas Fantasies Event (Character Event)
This is a character event which is a development on this years. I will be asking for character posts where your character writes a letter to Santa about what their “fantasy” Christmas will look like. This could be sexy, heartfelt or just plain fun … we had all sorts this year! I will be putting up a Gift Card Event Giveaway.
If you would be interested in any of the events (except the blog hop), please let me know through the below contact form so I can email you the day before the sign up sheet is live. All sign up sheets will be done through Sign Up Genius (it makes it far easier for me to organize the events this way and it is free to sign up). If you would rather not do it this way (understandable) then there will also be a post on the blog the day the sign up sheet goes live but I won’t be pushing it as much (It comes across as spammy on my feed). The information you give will ONLY be used for the above 3 events.
