Christmas is my favorite time of year and I’m really honored to be part of Nix’s scorching Christmas fantasies. Happy holiday wishes to you all!

I’m looking forward to sharing an interview I did with Evie and Gabriel from The Invitation, and finding out who has been naughty and who has been nice…

Scarlett: Hi both. Merry Christmas! I’m delighted to have you here.

Gabriel: The pleasure is ours.

Scarlett: *blushes*

Evie (to Gabriel): Oh stop flirting *laughs* Sorry, Scarlett. He can’t help himself.

Scarlett: Haha, don’t worry. It’s fine. So, shall we start? I know you are both short for time during this festive period. Evie, how are things at Longthorn Manor?

Evie: *beams* Great! We are getting ready for our annual Christmas ball. I adore this time of year—the rich colours, the scents of chocolate and spice, the decorations and lights. Everyone is so happy. It’s amazing.

Scarlett:  It really is a magical time. You met on Christmas Eve didn’t you?

Gabriel: We did. Although we’d been coveting each other from afar for many years.

Gabriel lifts Evie’s hand and kisses her palm.

Scarlett: *swoons* Getting together was something of a Christmas fairytale?

Gabriel: More than you can ever imagine.

Scarlett: Now that you have each other what’s on your Christmas list?

Evie: Time with my family. I don’t get to see them all year, so this gives me the opportunity to really catch up and reconnect. I miss them so much and what better time to let them know they are loved?

Scarlett: That’s lovely. And you, Gabriel?

Evie: *snorts* What can you get for the Shadow King?

Gabriel leans down and whispers something in Evie’s ear. She blushes redder than Santa’s suit.

Scarlett: Ahem.

Gabriel: I have everything I need right here. I have my Evie.

Scarlett: Awww.

Evie: He’s such a charmer! And he’s not too bad in the sack.

Gabriel roars with laughter. Lucian, their bodyguard, enters and taps his watch.

Scarlett: Looks like we need to wrap this up. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me. One final thing : who’s been naughty and who’s been nice?

Gabriel: *looks at Evie* She’s been very, very nice.

Evie: And he’s been oh so naughty…

I’m so excited tonight! I know I’m a little late to the party, but I’m finding so many great books. This book sounds like something I would love. 😀
