This week’s Top Picks are…
Status on TR list : I adore Sidney Bristol. I adore small town romances. On the TR list.
Tactical Medic Jena Martin has put her career as a combat medic behind her and thrown herself into working with the Ransom, Tx SWAT. But that comes with its own set of challenges. Namely, her brooding Team Leader, Alex Myers, the one man who shows zero interest in her, which is a shame. She could do with a pleasant distraction. Jena is certain someone has been in her home, moving her things and eating her food.
SWAT Officer Alex Myers knows when one of his team is operating under duress, and he’s always been hyper-aware of Jena. It’s clear to him she hasn’t been herself lately. After a successful operation, he corners her when she doesn’t want to go home. The battle-hardened medic breaks down in his arms and confesses she fears for her safety. Someone is stalking her, and she has evidence of possessions going missing.
Alex offers Jena his guest room for the night. She’s always been a bright light on his team and in his life. When she seeks comfort in his arms, all the barriers he’s erected in the name of professionalism crumble. As their forbidden relationship blossoms, Alex uncovers Jena’s secret. She might not have a stalker at all. It might be PTSD from a horrific accident she suffered overseas. Before Alex can get to the bottom of things, he’s slapped with an order to stop seeing her—or lose his job. It’s a decision that should be clear, except Alex can’t give her up.
Status on TR List : I liked the first in this series so it is on the list!
There’s little Ashley wouldn’t do for a friend, but she hit her limit with Cole a long time ago. He’s always been “that” friend and couldn’t remember what life was like without him around. Until one day, two years ago, he’d left without telling anyone where or why. Now, he’s waltzed back into her life, and so much has changed. Including her feelings for him.
Cole has been deep undercover in one of the most dangerous remote locations that he’d forgotten what it was like to be around a beautiful woman. However, after being around Ashley again, he realizes just how much has changed between them. Going home was needed to keep his sanity since he’d had enough of always checking over his shoulder. The only problem, the danger may have followed him home.
Status on the TR List : Previously pubbed but there have been a lot of revisions. I will be buying this as I did with the first because I like it.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
It’s an order that Luxi, Sin of Lust, never saw coming. When you work for Lucifer, though, you tend to lay off the questions. She isn’t comforted when she discovers her assignment is to intern for a preacher-turned-politician, especially when her directive goes no further. As Luxi prepares for a long ride to nowhere, she can’t help but wonder if something else is at play…or what the King of Hell has up his sleeve.
Grayson Bailey’s run for state senate is going nowhere fast. The poll numbers are depressing, his campaign advisor is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and someone out there has a bullet with his name on it. Yet when temptation herself struts through the door with a sassy smirk and an attitude to match, Grayson finds it very hard to remember which obligations are at the top.
The closer Grayson gets to Luxi, the stranger his life becomes. With Election Day—and a psycho with a gun—just around the corner, he can’t afford any detours. And while Luxi never puts her heart on the line, there’s something about this man that tests her resolve…though it might end up costing her more than she can afford.
Status on the TR List : LOVE Beth Williamson. On the list.
Join the modern day Grahams of the Circle Eight and fall in love all over again.

Samuel Graham is a hopeless flirt who finally finds a woman who makes him want to settle down. When Kim runs from commitment, Sam has to make the hardest choice of his life. Pursue the woman he’s fallen in love with, or move on and protect his heart?
Grant Graham has avoided romantic entanglements since a broken heart ten years earlier. The intense cowboy doesn’t know what hit him after a whirlwind named Katie Malloy lands in his lap. Literally.
Katie has spent her life being clumsy, making mistakes, and apologizing for the disasters she causes. Grant doesn’t want to be the unlucky rescuer, but love comes in many disguises, and he won’t know it hit him until he leaves her behind.
Status on the TR List : I loved the first in the series. On the list.
Tennyson Clark is getting a life. First step: quitting her job as assistant to Dominic Anderson, star quarterback for the Washington Warriors, her best friend…and the man she’s been secretly in love with for years. But since the gorgeous, if overprotective playboy has only ever seen her as his BFF, she’s finally ready to relinquish her tattered fantasy and move on. Enter steps two and three: new job and new man.
Football is Dominic’s life, and with his contract soon up for renewal, all his focus needs to be on the game. But Tennyson—dependable, logical Tennyson—is making that next to impossible with her mysterious new job and her sudden interest in online dating. He doesn’t do relationships. But the thought of another man touching her sexier-than-hell curves has him suddenly wanting more from his best friend.
Indulging in hot, dirty, what’s-my-name sex with no strings and lots of benefits is simple, uncomplicated…until it’s not.
Each book in the WAGS series is STANDALONE:
* Scoring with the Wrong Twin
* Scoring Off the Field
Status on the TR List : I have never read this series but I love Laura Kaye and I think this could be a good entry point. On the list.
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Laura Kaye comes a new story in her Raven Riders series…
Caine McKannon is all about rules. As the Raven Riders Sergeant-at-Arms, he prizes loyalty to his brothers and protection of his club. As a man, he takes pleasure wherever he can get it but allows no one close—because distance is the only way to ensure people can’t hurt you. And he’s had enough pain for a lifetime.
But then he rescues a beautiful woman from an attack.
Kids and school are kindergarten teacher Emma Kerry’s whole life, so she’s stunned to realize she has an enemy—and even more surprised to find a protector in the intimidating man who saved her. Tall, dark, and tattooed, Caine is unlike any man Emma’s ever known, and she’s as uncertain of him as she is attracted. As the danger escalates, Caine is in her house more and more – until one night of passion lands him in her bed.
But breaking the rules comes at a price, forcing Caine to fight dirty to earn a chance at love.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
Status on the TR List : I bought the first one but haven’t read it. On the list!
When Sarah Rawlings fell for her best friend’s older brother in high school, she knew he was trouble. But she couldn’t resist his pull and the sweetness she sensed underneath his protective bad boy persona. Their relationship was everything she had ever dreamed of, until she was rocked by his painful betrayal. Eleven years later, Sarah must return to Whidbey Island following her beloved grandmother’s death. She knows she must stay away from Ian, but he’s not making that easy and every time she sees him, she’s reminded of what might have been.
One look at Sarah stirs up memories regrets that still linger in Ian McLaughlin’s heart. She was the love of his life and he still can’t understand how he blew it and how she could have also hurt him so badly in return. He plans to steer clear of Sarah while she’s on Whidbey Island, but that’s impossible when she’s often at his family’s pub. Thinking to indulge in a little casual seduction for fun, neither is prepared when the embers burst into flames.
So many years and secrets separate them. Can their powerful attraction also include understanding and forgiveness?
Status on the TR List : I have a mixed view on this authors work but I like the premise (Pick-a-dick??? *snort*). On the list.
1.Hate-screw my high school nemesis.
2.Remember to hate him.
3.Prove my brother wrong.
It should be easy.
As the owner of Pick-A-D*ck, New Orleans’ premier hook-up website, my job is simple. Connect two people for a no-strings, no-expectations hook-up. The plus for my clients is that I’m the one who gets to sift through the d*ck pics—except this time, they’re required.
My problem? My brother, co-owner of Pick-A-D*ck’s sister dating site, doesn’t believe it’s possible to hook up with someone three times and not fall in love.
I disagree. I know it’s possible.
And my disagreement is exactly how I end up reconnected with my high school nemesis, Elliott Sloane. The guy who asked me to junior prom and then stood me up. Who egged my car when I rejected him, and convinced my senior homecoming date to ghost me.
It should be easy to hate-screw him. If only he was still that person, instead of a hot-as-hell single dad, working as a builder to make ends’ meet, fighting for custody of his daughter.
Status on the TR List : I’m quite enjoying this series. On the list.
Once upon a time, there was a young woman whose prince wouldn’t see her as a princess.
Madison has tried to be a friend and support to Timothy and his six-year-old daughter ever since his wife died, but she’s having trouble not wanting more than that from him. He’s everything she wants in a man, but he only looks at her as a friend who helps out with his daughter.
She knows she needs to start thinking of other men, since she can’t have the man she wants. She’s always been practical, so she makes a plan for moving on. A romantic weekend at a grand wedding in the mountains is the perfect opportunity to have fun and feel desirable again with someone other than Timothy. But always seems to be around, kinder and sexier than ever. Maybe what’s practical isn’t the way to find her happy ending.
Unveiled is the third novella in the One Fairy Tale Wedding series, in which three friends make a pact to get what they really want during one wedding weekend.
Status on the TR List : Andrew Grey is an author I have enjoyed before and I like the look of this one. On the list.
