Welcome to Top Picks. This is a weekly post which features books out this week which have caught my eye.
I have decided to split the list into three; On my List, On my Radar and Caught My eye. The first is those I have every intention of reading. On my Radar feautures books that I have marked on a wishlist, possibly as I am awaiting a price drop or am not up to that book in the series. The last are more one’s I know next to nothing about but have caught my eye for some reason. All books are one’s which I would potentially read.
As always, I do my due diligence on all books I put on here. I don’t recommend books from authors who I know have engaged in awful behaviour or have bigotted views – I chose not to give them my money so you won’t find them on here. If I make a mistake and feature an author who has engaged in bad behaviour, tell me in the comments and the book will be removed.
I don’t read NA. I do not read reverse harem. I also do not read Pandemic romance. Those books will not feature here.
Due to issues with prices, I will no longer be posting RRP’s of these books – the prices I post seem to be accurate for a day so I feel it is completely pointless.

I love Mia Vincy – this is on the top of the list for this week.
A CHRISTMAS AFFAIR TO REMEMBER
Warm lessons in love on cold winter nights…
Isaac DeWitt—former sailor, respected investigator, and notorious flirt—wants a wife, and where better to find one than the winter house party at Longhope Abbey? But for all his rakish charm, Isaac doesn’t even know how to kiss a woman, let alone what to do with her in the marriage bed.
Sylvia Ray—impoverished widow, expert distiller, and safely betrothed—means to enjoy every minute at the house party before she settles into a dreary but secure marriage. She’s too old to believe in exciting futures, but she’s too young to bury herself in the country just yet.
When Sylvia discovers Isaac’s dilemma, she shocks them both with a proposition: She’ll give him experience if he’ll give her excitement, during a winter they’ll never forget.
Warm, touching, and fun, this short historical romance tells the story of a young widow and younger man who start a holiday affair but end up with so much more.
Escape to the world of Longhope Abbey, with witty, steamy, emotional historical romances.

I am behind on this series but I like the sound of this one.
Best Christmas present ever?
Famous actress and secret submissive Sheridan Stratford can’t wait to collect her Christmas gift from Mistress Nora—a two-hour session with the Big Brad Wolfe, one of New York’s top male dominants. But when she’s snowed in with Mr. Wolfe for the night, Sheridan is forced to reckon with the sacrifices she’s had to make for her career. She expected to get eaten by a wolf, not fall in love with one…

Aww, how cute is this?? On the list.
A Regency enemies to friends to lovers romance, with a touch of brother’s best friend and a whole lot of banter and steamy scenes.
Miss Gina Bains just needs to avoid marriage until Christmas—and her birthday. When she’s one-and-twenty she’ll receive inheritance from her father and be free to travel the world. In the meantime, she’s stuck with faking the accomplishments her mother insists on and “accidentally” stepping on the toes of her would-be beau.
Dancing with his best friend’s sister is Emmett Stanton’s duty to fulfill, like choosing a wife to keep the Earldom going. When Miss Bains inadvertently reveals her ploy, Emmett realizes a fake engagement can solve both their problems. Her condition that he can’t kiss her creates a challenge, but he can tempt her into kissing him…
Gina resists Emmett’s charm for months, but when Christmas and freedom are just days away a kiss under the mistletoe is irresistible. One kiss turns into Emmett educating her in the ways of love, and suddenly the future—without Emmett—looks gray. But how can she give up her travel dreams when he must settle down and produce an heir?

I do like a Royal romance – and a holiday romance. On the list.
On a quest for enjoyment and momentary freedom, the Princess of Asnia celebrates the holidays at a quaint ski lodge where emotions run high and a budding romance is an unexpected gift.
With overprotective parents, Princess Imani Theron took any freedom she could get. With guards and her parents always in her space even at the age of twenty-three, finally being allowed to plan a holiday trip without her parents was the best present the pair could give her. Loading up her best friends and favorite guards, she planned a trip of a lifetime to Mountain View Inn’s ski lodge. What she wasn’t planning for was the rude and constant cold shoulder from the owner’s daughter.
After planning an entire week of hanging out with her best friend, whom she hadn’t seen in person since college, Farrah Dennis thought nothing could go wrong. That was until Asnia’s princess called the Inn and requested a complete shutdown for her visit. Now she would have to work and her plans with her best friend would have to be rescheduled. With her mother’s sole focus on making sure Imani’s stay is immaculate, Farrah would do as she was told, but it didn’t mean she had to be nice about it.
With egos colliding in wake of the holidays, their differences could ruin the holiday spirit, or their attraction could bring about an explosively passionate week at Mountain View Inn.
Thanks for the post.
